ASSIGNMENT : FACTORS AFFECTING AIR PRESSURE

1. Three factors that affect air pressure :
       1) Number of particle
       2) volume of container
       3) temperature

2. These three can influence air pressure :

• Number of particle 

- as the number of particles increases, the number of  collisions against the wall also increasing

•  Volume of container 

- Volume of container reduced as the gas is compressed.more collisions occur and lead to the air pressure

•   temperature            

- when the gas is heated, the energy content of particles will  increase the collisions.
